Requesting a report on commercial effects of the expected reduction of car use due to the impacts of the new City Development Plan.

The Council notes that this new City Development Plan will reduce car usage in the city and requests that a report is made available on the effects this may have on the retail business sector and taxi sector in the city centre. The report is to be made available and included in the "consideration by Members of Chief Executive‟s Report" (Wks 70-82) in order that members can further consider this matter. Listed as Motion 1169.
