On rezoning part of the CYMS pitch and putt in Dublin 3 to allow for housing

Councillor Nial Ring proposed zoning a part of the CYMS pitch and putt course in Dublin 3 as Z1 in the Dublin CIty Development Plan 2022-28 to facilitate the building of 48 senior citizen units (AHB) while maintaining the course. The chief executive supported Councillor Ring's motion. In a roll-call vote councillors voted against the motion 47 against, 8 for, and 2 abstaining, leaving the land to be zoned as Z9 (Amenity/Open Space Lands/Green Network).
