"That Dublin City Council condemns and opposes the ongoing use of Shannon Airport by the US military. This continued use has a harmful effect on Ireland's reputation as a non-aligned and neutral nation. Furthermore, this Council condemns the treatment of peaceful protesters, such as Dave Donnellan and Colm Roddy, supports their actions and their treatment is in stark contrast with the treatment and welcome received by Donald Trump, US military forces stopping over in Shannon as well as multi-national corporations and is unacceptable in a neutral Republic".
