On rezoning Slademore Park to allow for housing

Councillors Daryl Barron, Terence Flanagan and Tom Brabazon proposed that the Dublin City Development Plan 2022-28 include a Z9 zoning (Amenity/Open Space Lands/Green Network) for Slademore Park in Dublin 13. The chief executive recommended zoning the land as Z15 (Community and Social Infrastructure), which includes residential development as a use open for consideration. Councillors voted 32-25 against the chief executive's recommended version, and by voice vote backed the motions to include the Z9 zoning.
