On including residential use as an option for lands zoned Z15
Councillors Damien O'Farrell and Catherine Stocker proposed removing residential as one of the uses open for consideration (under exceptional circumstances) on lands zoned Z15 (community and social infrastructure -- formerly "institutional lands") in the Dublin City Development Plan 2022-28. The chief executive recommended a version of the text still including residential use as an option. In a roll-call vote, councillors 45 for, 11 against, and 1 abstaining to support the chief executive's version.
