Motion

Councillor Michael Pidgeon proposed adding language to the Dublin City Development Plan 2022-28 to zone all of the council's Marrowbone Lane depot site for green space and recreational use, in an effort to get council management to put in a sports pitch there. The chief executive proposed a revised version of the same language, not doing that. The councillors voted against the chief executive's version, 48 voting against, 2 for and 2 abstaining. And then, in a voice vote, they backed Councillor Pidgeon's rezoning.
